After the hot and dry summer seasons, rain is urgently needful for the Algarve vegetation. The main rainy season starts in November and goes on until March. But also in these winter months there is a frequently change between the rainy situation and warm, sunny periods, which invites you for sunbathes on the beach. During the portugues winter-season there is an opulent and flowerful vegetation growing up, which is a lovely background for activities like hiking, biking or riding.

During the wintertime you get to know the Algarve and its residentes from their most purest and authentic nature.

When the run of the summertime tourists is finished, you find the original portugues way of live.

The cottages in Cerca dos Pomares are prepared for the wintertime, they are equipped with wood-burning-stoves an TV-satelit. On request you can share the washing machine with the landlady.
